“Adobe Illustrator” Shirt

Graphic Design

Client: Me
Brief: I want a shirt with the words Adobe and Illustrator on it in white. I want it as close to the actual typeface as I can get it. For this one-off design I used DTF printed transfers from a supplier I found on Etsy that is fairly close to me, and very affordable. Transfer was applied to a Gildan G8000 shirt using a Stahls Hottronix press, temperature at 315 degrees/pressure 8, for 15 seconds, cold peel, post press 315 degrees with parchment paper for 5 seconds.

As always, Illustrator > Photoshop. That’s my opinion. Photoshop has its place and that place is doing photo things. For my purposes, Illustrator wins almost every time.
